PAOLO MARCHETTI – The Noble fire of ancient slaves

PAOLO MARCHETTI – The Noble fire of ancient slaves

In Cité Soleil in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, one of the poorest and most dangerous places in the world, the spiritual, almost supernatural energy of African ancestors survives through voodoo. Desperation finds refuge in animistic cults, dances and mystical trances, where deities of African origin mingle with angels and saints of Christianity.
